Machine History

I found this game on EBay. It was located in Metro Detroit at an arcade. Monopoly was a current machine at the time and I picked it up for 2k less than they were selling new. It was in bad need of a shop job and a few parts. I'm in the process of hunting down a NOS playfield for it now. It seems that the company who makes the playfields had a hard time with his one. I have seen a lot of playfields for sale but all of them look like seconds (smeared ink, bad registration.) As I'm writing this PinDel is tracking down one for me. I also plan on creating a backboard graphic. The machine comes with a red backboard that is very visible and very plain. I also purchased two boxes of spare parts for the machine from Marc B. and a Pat Lawlor autographed translite.

My Thoughts on the Machine

Just about everyone in the free world knows how to play the game. The pinball machine works the same way, collect properties and money. The bank is an interesting toy. It's a gate that stands in the way of accessing the left ramp. The twirling flipper on the right is interesting but on occasion it traps balls which is kind of a drag. I like the machine. People who come over also enjoy playing it.
